1. Elevated Work Platforms
Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.
Tree maintenance and elimination in the metropolitan environment requires operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised devices we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our devices, electrical testing of all EWP is conducted on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.
2. Insulated Equipment
All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.
Ride On Mowers
With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.
3. Crane Trucks
Crane trucks provide higher performance and enhanced safety in removing trees.
With their capacity to raise large loads and for that reason decreasing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Whitmire Outdoor Living has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.
4. Tip Trucks
Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe manner in which reduces any contamination.
All tip trucks have function built canopies designed to securely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting air flow and decreasing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or little.
5. Root Cutter
In a constantly developing city environment root barriers have become a crucial strategy in maintaining the harmony of trees and infrastructure.
The Whitmire Outdoor Living root cutter is specially designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to enable the installation of root barrier.
6. Wood Chippers
We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.
All our wood chippers are fitted with the most recent safety features and meet the requirements of Australian Design Standards. As an included safety feature, we ensure that a choice of our wood chippers are fitted with winches to reduce manual handling injuries.
