1. Elevated Work Platforms
Our fleet of insulated and electrically checked elevating work platforms (EWP) is particularly designed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.
Tree upkeep and removal in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the safest possible method. To further ensure the safe functioning of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP fulfill the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.
2. Insulated Devices
All EWP are geared up with insulated electrically checked hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks particularly designed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.

3. Crane Trucks
Crane trucks provide higher effectiveness and improved safety in eliminating trees.

Whitmire Outdoor Living has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is mounted on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.
4. Tip Trucks
Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and collect leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any contamination.
All tip trucks have function constructed canopies designed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and minimizing dust triggering air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that range from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to perform any task big or small.
5. Root Cutter
In a continuously developing city environment root barriers have become an important technique in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.
The Whitmire Outdoor Living root cutter is specifically designed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst neatly cutting roots to enable the installation of root barrier.
6. Wood Chippers
We have a variety of wood chippers that range from 225mm to 500mm capacity.
