Our fleet of insulated and electrically evaluated elevating work platforms (EWP) is specifically developed for close approach tree cutting (CATT) around live electrical facilities.
Tree maintenance and removal in the urban environment needs operators to continually work around overhead electrical facilities and with our specialised equipment we conduct this work in the best possible way. To further make sure the safe performance of our equipment, electrical testing of all EWP is carried out on a 6 monthly basis. All EWP meet the requirements of Australian Basic AS/NZS 1418.10-2004 Cranes, Hoists and Winches Part 10 Elevating Work Platforms.
All EWP are equipped with insulated electrically evaluated hydraulic long reach chainsaws and pulling sticks specifically developed for close approach tree cutting, (CATT) around live electrical facilities.
Ride On Mowers
With our fleet of ride on mowers, our team makes carrying out your grounds maintenance easy, fast and safe. All our ride on mowers are fitted with ROPS, o% grade capability low emissions etc.

With their capacity to lift large loads and for that reason minimizing our teams’ exposure to manual handling injuries whilst processing tree waste on the ground. Whitmire Outdoor Living has a 6 tonne truck mounted crane with telescopic reach of 15 metres. The crane is installed on a bogie drive truck with a 25m3 tipping body.
Covered tip trucks are used to tow wood chippers and gather leaf mulch in a safe way that minimises any pollution.
All tip trucks have function constructed canopies developed to safely contain Leaf Mulch and Wood Chip whilst permitting airflow and minimizing dust causing air pollution. We have a variety of tip trucks that vary from 7m3 to 25m3 capacity to carry out any job big or small.
In a constantly developing metropolitan environment root barriers have become an important method in preserving the consistency of trees and infrastructure.
The Whitmire Outdoor Living root cutter is specially developed to cut a narrow trench through earth whilst nicely cutting roots to enable the setup of root barrier.
